While the action was limited, several teams are already off to fast starts with their 2016 baseball season.

In the 9u Division, the STL Dawgs and STL Naturals finished Saturday with perfect 2-0 records.  The STL Dawgs defeated the Riverdogs, 8-0 and Royales, 10-7.  The STL Naturals knocked off two Missouri Gators teams, 15-10 vs. Missouri Gators Blue and 14-16 vs. Missouri Gators Orange.

The Missouri Gators swept their opening two games in the 10u division knocking off the Bombers and Rawlings Tigers.

In the 11u A division the Shield had a dominate day winning all three games and only giving up 5 runs and scoring 42 of their own.  The Sluggers were 2-1 on the weekend thus far with wins over Christian Eagles and Rawlings Tigers.

The Missouri Riverhawks sat on top of the 11u AA division thru Saturday with wins over Granite City Jr. Warriors and STL Dawgs.

The 12u division saw the STL BlueJays get off to a fast start with wins over Xtreme and St. Clement Mariners. Four teams were at 1-1 in the 12u Division leading to a very interesting finale as teams moved to bracket play.

Outlaws entered bracket play as the top seed in 13u by virtue of 3 wins on Saturday.  The Outlaws scored 31 runs while giving up 7 in their victories over St. Charles Capitals, Shield and Midwest Surge.

In the 7 team 14u division, the Easton Stallions Black earned the top seed heading into bracket play with a 2-0 record.  The Rawlings Tigers-Busby earned the 2 seed with a similar 2-0 record thru Saturday.
