Spring Time Classic Champions

Congratulations to everyone who competed so well as part of our Spring Time Classic Tournament this past weekend.

The fields at C&H Ballpark and BMAC were absolutely fantastic, so thank you to the staff at both ballparks for helping to host a wonderful event.

14u AA
Black Diamond went 2-0 in pool play and then defeated the STL Bandits and Team Combat to capture the 14u AA division title.

14u A
The Brighton Bulldogs won 2 games and tied 1 in pool play to then see the team they tied in the first round of bracket play.  The Bulldogs would defeat the Defenders the second time around and then advance to the championship game where they defeated the Undertakers 10-1.

13u
After going 1-1 in Pool Play, the Missouri Stixx put everything together in defeating the Capitals 6-3 and then knocking off the #1 seed STL Blue Sox, 6-3 to capture the 13u division.

12u
The Rawlings Tigers would split with the Brighton Bulldogs this weekend, however the Tigers won the game that mattered most on Sunday in defeating the Bulldogs 7-5 to capture the 12u tournament title.

11u
The STL Jets had a remarkable weekend going 3-0 in Pool Play and then finishing off the weekend with a 15-1 win over Midwest Rebels in the championship game of the 11u division.

10u
The Red Rebels entered bracket play on Sunday with a 1-0-1 record as the 3 seed.  After narrowly getting by the Lake St. Louis Chiefs, 9-8, the Red Rebels would knock off the #2 seed Team Missouri Retro 12-10. The Red Rebels advanced to meet the unbeaten Bombers in the championship game.  The Red Rebels got off to a 13 run first inning and would eventually win 15-7 in capturing the 10u division title.

9u
Nobody was able to slow down the Royales in Pool Play as they Royales earned the #1 seed, going 3-0 and owning a 40-4 run differential.  However the STL Spikes would avenge an earlier 8-0 loss to the Royales in winning the championship game 14-7 in the 9u division of the Spring Time Classic.
