Triple Play Tournaments has quickly distinguished itself as a leader in providing youth baseball and softball tournaments for St. Louis area teams and beyond.
The St. Peters based organization set a record year in 2015 and expects bigger and better for 2016. “We enjoyed our best year ever in 2015 and 2016 is already shaping up to be even better,” said Tournament Director, Chris Braudis. “Teams from all over the St. Louis metro area participated in our tournaments this year and the feedback received was fantastic.”
Braudis and his partner with Triple Play Tournaments, Randy Kolkmeyer have a long history in St. Peters and specifically at C&H Ballpark, where a lot of Triple Play Tournaments games are played. “Randy and his family have been associated with the Board at C&H Ballpark for over 50 years and it’s great to be able to see today’s youth get to enjoy this historic ballpark like so many generations before,” said Braudis.
Triple Play Tournaments hosts youth baseball and softball tournaments for youth levels 7u thru 18u. Braudis and Kolkmeyer anticipate the bottom end of that age spectrum to be an area of growth in 2016. “We’ve just started to enter the machine pitch segment and we’re doing so at the request of coaches who participated in tournaments at older age levels this year,” commented Braudis. “Apparently we’re doing something right with how we administer and accommodate these teams, as they are eager to come back and are asking for more.”
Braudis expects the 2016 Tournament Calendar to be finalized by mid-November with pre-registration available in late November.
